Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using Chuwe you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app.

To accept them you must be of legal age in your country, or have the consent of your legal guardian.

2. Description of the service

Chuwe is an app for logging and reviewing a baby's routine: feeding, breastfeeding, pumping, sleep and diaper changes.

It runs on your device, with no account and no server. It is a tool for writing things down and looking them up, nothing more.

3. Permitted use

You may use Chuwe for your personal and family use. You may not:

• decompile, modify or create derivative works of the app, except where the law expressly allows it;
• redistribute, resell or rent it;
• use it to provide a professional diagnostic or clinical monitoring service;
• use it in any way that breaks applicable law.

4. Responsibility for your records

The information you log is yours, and you are responsible for it: for its accuracy, for keeping it, and for deciding who you share it with.

Chuwe does not verify or correct what you write. Type the wrong time and the app will save it exactly as typed.

5. Backups

Your records are stored on the device. They are lost if you uninstall the app, if the device is lost or breaks, or if you change phones without taking them with you.

Chuwe includes export and import so you can keep them, but making backups is your responsibility. We cannot recover data we have never held.

6. Premium features

Chuwe may offer additional paid features. Where they exist, they will be clearly identified inside the app and their scope described before any purchase.

7. Subscriptions and purchases

Any purchase inside Chuwe is made and managed through the App Store or Google Play, depending on the store you installed the app from.

8. Renewal

Where a paid feature is offered as a renewing subscription, the renewal terms are set and disclosed by the relevant store before you confirm the purchase.

9. Cancellation

Subscriptions are cancelled from your App Store or Google Play account settings, not from Chuwe. We cannot cancel them on your behalf.

10. Restoring purchases

If you have bought a feature and lose it after reinstalling or switching devices, you can restore it from the app using the same store account you purchased with.

11. Pricing

The applicable price is shown in the App Store or Google Play before you confirm the purchase, in your currency and with the taxes that apply in your country.

Prices may change. A change never applies to a purchase already made.

12. App Store and Google Play

Distribution, billing and refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own terms. Refund requests go to the store, not to us.

13. Intellectual property

The app, its name, its brand, its mascot, its design and its code belong to their owners and are protected by applicable law.

Using Chuwe transfers no rights over them to you. The information you log remains yours.

14. Medical disclaimer

Chuwe is a tracking and organization tool. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice and is not a substitute for guidance from a pediatrician or other healthcare professional.

For any question about your baby's health, feeding or sleep, consult a healthcare professional. Do not make or withhold a medical decision based on what the app shows.

15. Limitation of liability

Chuwe is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or for data loss arising from use of the app, from uninstalling it, or from a device failure.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights the law grants you as a consumer that cannot be waived.

16. Availability

We work to keep Chuwe running correctly, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or compatible with every device and operating system version.

A feature may be changed or withdrawn in a later version.

17. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date in the header marks the latest version, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

18. Termination

You can stop using Chuwe at any time by uninstalling it. Remember to export your data first if you want to keep it.
