Baby sleep and feeding stats, from what you already log
Smart Insights turns your records into simple charts: sleep per day, feeds per day and the time between them. Nothing to enter twice, and it is all worked out on your phone.

What Smart Insights shows
Open it from Settings or from the button in the Calendar. You get the average sleep per day and per sleep, split between naps and night sleep, how many feeds you log a day and how long there is between them, and how many records there are of each kind.
Every number comes from records you already made. If you did not log for a day, Chuwe treats that day as unknown rather than as zero, so one forgotten evening does not drag your averages down.
- Average sleep per day and per sleep
- Naps and night sleep, separately
- Feeds per day and the usual gap between them
- Diapers and activity, counted by type
Seven days free, 30 and 90 with Premium
The last 7 days are free for everyone. Chuwe Premium, a one-time purchase, adds the 30 and 90 day views, the comparison with the previous period and the regularity of bedtime and waking up. Family Cloud Sync includes all of it.
Compare this week with the last
The comparison puts a period next to the one before it and shows the difference in plain numbers: a little more sleep per day, one feed less. It describes the change and nothing more. It does not say whether it is good or bad.
How regular are bedtime and waking up
Regularity shows how close together the times your baby went to sleep and woke up are, across the period. It handles bedtimes around midnight correctly, so 23:50 and 00:10 count as twenty minutes apart.
Calculated on your phone, nothing sent
Smart Insights runs on the records stored on your phone. It works offline, uses no account, and sends nothing about your baby to any server or to any analytics tool. The app only notes that the screen was opened, never what it showed.
What it is not
Smart Insights summarises what you logged. It does not diagnose, does not tell you what is normal for your baby and does not replace your pediatrician. If something worries you, talk to them and bring the numbers.
How much you need to log
A section appears once there is enough to say something honest, and until then Chuwe tells you how much more it needs instead of showing a misleading number. Today is left out of the averages because the day is not over yet.
Frequently asked questions
Is Smart Insights free?
The last 7 days are free. Premium adds 30 and 90 day periods, the comparison with the previous period and the regularity of bedtime and waking up.
Where are the statistics calculated?
On your phone, from the records stored there. It works offline and nothing about your baby is sent anywhere.
What happens on days I forgot to log?
Those days are treated as unknown, not as zero, so they do not lower your averages.
Does it tell me if my baby sleeps or eats enough?
No. It only describes what you logged. It is not medical advice and does not replace your pediatrician.
Does it work with more than one baby?
Yes. You see the statistics of the baby you have selected.
