See your baby's sleep pattern, nap by nap
Start a timer when your baby falls asleep, or write the nap in later. Chuwe keeps naps and night sleep apart, so the shape of the day becomes visible.

Naps vs night sleep
Naps and night sleep are logged separately, because they answer different questions: how the day is going, and how the night went. Both appear on the Today screen and in the history, side by side with feeds and diapers.
Forgot to start the timer?
It happens every day. Log a past sleep by writing the start and the end; Chuwe checks that the end comes after the start and places it in the right spot of the day.
When you do use the timer, it keeps running with the app closed, and shows on the iPhone Lock Screen or in an Android notification so you can stop it from there.
Weekly patterns (Premium)
Premium adds nap and night sleep averages, a monthly summary of sleep recorded per day, and a comparison of the last seven days with the seven before, to spot when the routine shifts.
These figures describe what you recorded in the app. They are not medical indicators or recommendations.
Sleep next to everything else
Sleep sits in the same timeline as feeds, diapers and events, so you can see the whole day rather than a sleep chart on its own. With twins, each baby has their own sleep timer.
At night, with the lights off
Starting a sleep timer is one tap, and stopping it does not need the app open: on iPhone the timer is on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and on Android it is in a notification. If your baby wakes and settles again, pause and resume rather than starting over.
In the morning, the night is already in the history, next to the feeds that happened in between, so you can see how it actually went instead of guessing.
Today, the history and the month
The Today screen shows the last sleep and how long ago it ended. The history lists each nap and night with its length, and the calendar shows the month. Premium adds the averages and comparisons.
Sleep logged by whoever is awake
With Family Cloud Sync, the parent who put the baby down starts the timer and the one who hears them wake can stop it, each from their own phone. Everyone sees the same naps and nights, and each phone keeps working offline.
Frequently asked questions
Can I add sleep after the fact?
Yes. Log a past sleep with its start and end time whenever you remember.
Does Chuwe give sleep advice?
No. Chuwe shows the patterns in what you recorded; it does not diagnose, interpret or recommend. For questions about your baby's sleep, talk to your pediatrician.
Can I time two babies sleeping at once?
Yes. Each baby has their own timers, so two naps can run at the same time.
Is the sleep tracker free?
Yes. Logging naps and night sleep, the timer and the history are free. Premium adds averages, a monthly summary and week-on-week comparisons.
Can I pause a sleep if the baby wakes up?
Yes. Pause the timer and resume it when your baby falls asleep again.
Can I see naps and night sleep separately in the statistics?
Yes, with Premium. The advanced statistics show nap and night sleep averages separately.
