Every first, dated and kept
The first smile, the first tooth, the first steps. Chuwe keeps them with the day they actually happened, next to the feeds and naps of that same week.

Milestones next to the daily routine
Pick from the usual firsts or add one of your own, set the day it really happened (almost nobody grabs a phone mid first step) and add a note to remember it by.
- First smile, first word, first tooth
- Rolled over, sat up on their own, crawled
- First steps, clapped, waved
- Anything of their own that matters to you
Whatever age they happen at
Chuwe does not compare your baby with a chart or tell you a milestone is early or late. Each baby has their own timeline; the app just keeps the dates. If you have questions about development, your pediatrician is the person to ask, and the American Academy of Pediatrics has guidance on HealthyChildren.org.
Events: the days worth noting
Some days are memorable for other reasons. Log colic, gas, spit-up, fussiness, teething, a growth spurt, or that they felt warm, with how it looked to you: mild, moderate or strong. Chuwe records what you observed; it does not diagnose or advise, and it does not store temperatures.
Not the same as achievements
Chuwe also has achievements, but those are about how consistently you log. Milestones are about your baby, and the two never share a screen.
A note for each one
Each milestone can carry a note: where you were, who saw it, what made you laugh. A year later, the date and those few words are what you will want to find. The list shows how many firsts you have recorded, and when every usual one is in, you can keep adding their own.
Kept, and shared with the family
Milestones and events are part of your records: they are included when you export your data, and with Family Cloud Sync everyone in the family sees them on their own phone. Deleting one can be undone for a few seconds.
With voice logging in Premium you can also say it out loud, such as "took his first steps", and confirm.
For every baby
With twins or siblings, each baby has their own milestones, their own events and their own timeline. The first steps of one never appear in the other one's list.
