Feeding tracker

Track every feed: bottle, breast and formula

Whether your baby drinks from a bottle, nurses or both, Chuwe logs each feed the way it happened and keeps the day's feeds in one list.

The Today screen in Chuwe: a nap timer running, with buttons to end the nap, pause or discard it, and below it the last feeding, the last sleep, the last diaper change and the estimated next feeding.
This is what today looks like in Chuwe.

Bottle and formula, in ml or oz

Each bottle is saved with the amount and the milk: formula or breast milk. Choose millilitres or ounces in Settings; bottles you already logged keep the unit they were saved with, and the language and unit are independent of each other.

Add a note when something was different, such as "took less than usual", and it stays with that feed in the history.

Breastfeeding by side

A timer for each side, with pause and switch. When you finish, both the total and the time on each side are saved, and the next session tells you which side the last one ended on.

Repeat a frequent feed in one tap

Quick sessions remember the feeds you log most, such as the usual bottle, so saving one takes a single tap. Combination feeding works without picking a side: keep breastfeeding and bottles active together.

Next feed estimate

Chuwe adds the interval you set to the end of the last feed and shows the result on the Today screen, on the iPhone widget and, if you want, as a reminder. The interval is yours to choose.

When solids arrive

Meals of solid food have their own log: each food in the meal, whether it was the first time, whether they liked it, and anything you noticed afterwards. Chuwe records what you saw; it does not name allergies or score reactions.

Forgot to log a feed?

It happens in the middle of the night more than any other time. Save the feed afterwards and type the time it really happened; it lands in the right place in the day, and the next-feed estimate counts from it.

Saved something by mistake? Every new record can be undone for a few seconds, without digging through the history.

The day, the history and the month

The Today screen answers the questions of the moment: the last feed, how long ago it was, and when the next is due. The history lists every feed with its amount or its time on each side, and the calendar shows the whole month at a glance, so a busy week is easy to see.

With Premium you also get a monthly summary with feeding totals and averages, the bottle-to-breast split and a comparison of this week with the last one. These figures describe what you recorded; they are not recommendations.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use oz or ml?

Both. Pick the unit in Settings and change it whenever you like; feeds you already logged keep the unit they were saved with.

Can I tell breast milk and formula apart?

Yes. Each bottle is saved with its milk type, formula or breast milk, and breastfeeding sessions are logged separately with their own timer.

Can I see feeds per day?

Yes. The Today screen and the history show each day's feeds, and the calendar shows the month. Premium adds a monthly summary and the bottle-to-breast split.

Can I log a feed I forgot to record?

Yes. Save it afterwards with the time it really happened, and Chuwe puts it in its place in the day.

Can Chuwe remind me before the next feed?

Yes. Reminders are local notifications from your own phone, set from the interval you choose.

Can two people log feeds for the same baby?

Yes, with Family Cloud Sync. Each person logs from their own phone, and the next-feed estimate updates for everyone.
